Orthodontic Cost and Payment Options in Las Vegas

Know the expected financial commitment before deciding whether to begin treatment. Here is how Avocabo prices orthodontic treatment, structures payment plans, and works with insurance and Nevada Medicaid.

What Does Orthodontic Treatment Cost?

Cost depends on the treatment chosen and the complexity of the case. Below is an overview of expected fees for metal braces, how clear aligner pricing works, and the payment options available.

Metal Braces: What the $5,000 to $8,000 Range Means

Metal braces typically total $5,000 to $8,000 cumulatively for most comprehensive cases. This is the expected total course-of-treatment fee for most patients, not a teaser starting price. More complex cases or elective upgrades may fall outside this range.

Why Orthodontic Costs Vary

The movements required, the complexity of the bite, the appliance chosen, and any elective upgrades all affect the total fee. Dr. Camy Kwok reviews your case at an evaluation before providing an individualized treatment fee.

Clear Aligner Pricing

Pricing for clear aligners varies substantially by case, clinical requirements, and aligner system, so we do not publish a set price range. After your evaluation, we provide the complete treatment fee in writing before you decide whether to begin.

Know Your Treatment Fee Before You Start

Down payments are typically approximately 5% to 10% for braces and approximately 15% to 20% for clear aligners, and individualized arrangements are available.

Orthodontic treatment plans are itemized in writing, so your treatment fee is confirmed before you decide to begin.

0% In-House Orthodontic Payment Plans

Avocabo offers 0% interest in-house orthodontic financing. The patient portion can generally be spread across the expected course of treatment, and our team works with patients on financing arrangements. No outside financing is used for orthodontic treatment.

What Is Included in the Treatment Plan?

Your comprehensive treatment plan includes routine treatment rather than charging a separate fee at every routine visit. A clear removable retainer is included at completion of comprehensive treatment; a fixed permanent retainer is available as an elective upgrade when appropriate.

Replacement items, elective upgrades, or circumstances outside the original planned course of treatment may involve additional charges described in the written treatment agreement.

How Orthodontic Insurance Usually Pays

Orthodontic insurance commonly pays benefits over time rather than entirely upfront. Avocabo estimates available orthodontic benefits, but a benefit estimate is not a guarantee; your insurance company determines eligibility and payment. Any patient portion may be placed on a payment plan if elected. See our insurance and payment options page for more detail.

Nevada Medicaid and Nevada Check Up

Nevada Medicaid may cover medically qualifying orthodontic cases with prior authorization. If Medicaid does not approve treatment, a family may choose the same private-pay treatment options and Avocabo fee structure available to other patients. Learn more on our Nevada Medicaid page.

Complimentary Orthodontic Consultation

Your orthodontic consultation is complimentary. If your dental plan covers the examination, Avocabo may bill it as a covered benefit. Either way, you will not be billed a copay or balance for the consultation.
